MANUAL RETOPOLOGY TEST IN BLENDER
OLAF 3D MODELING TIME-LAPSE
One of my first ever 3D modeling timelapses I recorded in 2021. This was when I was getting into 3D Modeling with Blender for the first time ever and learning this piece of amazing software opened a new world of infinite possibilities for me.
Olaf is a very good example of how minimalism and simple shapes can be still used to convey emotion and life, and was probably one of my most favorite character studies ever!
ENVIRONMENTAL MODELING
When I started out 3D modeling, I wanted to explore storytelling through environment and simple shape construction. This was made in 2021, again, brand new to the craft of 3D modeling, but by discovering concepts like subdivision and particle systems, I was able to create this environmental artwork.
3D Reference in Blender
Color-Pencil Artwork
MICROSCOPIC WORLD
Made for my design principles class at Texas A&M, this project focused on re-imagining and visualizing microscopic life from a large-scale perspective. As someone who is not very strong in traditional art, I created this 3D reference art in blender to help me create this color-pencil artwork.
JINX CHARACTER MODELING TIMELAPSE (2024)
Probably one of my most favorite animated shows ever, Arcane and its revolutionary art style urged me to create a tribute for this masterpiece of a show. Being not the best character modeler, I thought it would be a good challenge for me to do a character study on Jinx, one of the main characters of the show. I worked on this model for around 3 days and also created a small animated short featuring the character!
STYLIZED WEAPON STAFF MODELING TIMELAPSE
This was a fun little personal project I was working on in 2022. I created this weapon model for an original character that I was developing. The process involved hard surface modeling, curve creation and demonstration of various modifiers that are a part of Blender's toolkit.
