RAMPAGE RALLY ONLINE RENDER CHALLENGE SUBMISSION
This work, titled "Flower to Flower", was my submission to Youtuber Pwnisher's render challenge where a template with a camera and root motion was provided. Everything here was modeled by hand by me, except for the human character which was taken from Mixamo. I used a combination of shape keys and skeleton rigging for the creatures I modeled. I was only able to work on this animation for about 10-12 days.
BACKFIRED
This short was created for my Motion Capture class at Texas A&M taught by Professor Michael Walsh. It was really cool experiencing capturing performance at Star Lab, which is a motion capture studio located at the Texas A&M's Rellis Campus. Getting into a Mo-Cap suit was however a very strange experience. This was also an opportunity for me to dive into cinematics in Unreal Engine as a newbie. All the motion data was processed using Autodesk Motion Builder. Throughout the course, we learned and completed multiple exercises in Motion Builder, giving us the opportunity to familiarize ourselves' with the software.
WARRIOR PENGUIN
Created for my Digital Character class taught by Professor Emily Bujnoch. Although the class focused on character design and modeling, it was a blast creating this animation. All the modeling, texturing, rigging and animation was done in Blender!
"VERDE": DREAM POEM
This short was submitted for my Algorithmic Design in Houdini class at Texas A&M Visualization, taught by Professor Michael Gayk. This was my first ever time using Houdini and the objective was to utilize the Vellum particle-based simulation system offered by Houdini. Rendered in Blender Eevee, this short features the flying/floating leaves, coming together to make up beautiful shapes and structures, and finally a leaf-covered humanoid emerges from the ground, walking across the leaf-covered landscape, before disintegrating back to the forest that it was a part of.
After only having done hand-modeling and animation before, Houdini taught me the power of procedural modeling and animation, and the modular capabilities of this workflow.
3D MODELING AND ANIMATION SHOWREEL (2024)
This showreel consists of some of my earliest personal animation works to more recent ones. The interesting thing about this reel is that for all shorts featured here, I used no external assets, characters, rigs or animations. Everything was created by myself from scratch!

3D ANIMATION SHOWREEL (2021)
One of my earlier showreel, featuring mainly fan animations and stylized experimental works that I did when I was getting into animating. You will notice that I was really interested in creating 2.5D animations integrating 3D and 2D content using Blender's greasepencil tool. Once again, most works shown here only contains models, animations and rigs that I myself created.
BRAMAYUGAM FAN ANIMATION
Bramayugam is a Malayalam-language period horror movie released in 2024 and was a huge success for its portrayal of horror, culture and performances. The movie features a narration of a side-story and I wanted to make an animation depicting that particular narration.
 All characters, environment and animation was made in Blender, rendered in Eevee. Blender's Keentools addon was used to roughly recreate the face of one of the actors. This 4-minute animation was made from scratch within the short period of three weeks.
PETER DISCOVERS HIS POWERS (LAYOUT PROJECT)
This was my final project for the Layout/Pre-Viz class taught by Professor Michael Walsh. Throughout the semester, we learned about cinematography concepts, editing, storyboarding and so on. This was created in Blender, utilizing a character model from Sketchfab and a rig created with Mixamo. This class was a good exploration for me to dive into the processes involved between ideation and the shooting of a movie.
